And the Seine Called

About the book
After the flames of the Second World War were doused, African American servicemen were once again confronted with the prospect of civilian life in a harshly segregated society. And, when one such soldier unwittingly lands in the middle of score-settling in a Parisian no man’s land on the banks of the Seine, the city of light is transformed into a labyrinth of cobblestone and darkness. Even the difference between pursuit and escape is obscured, compelling one to call on training and instincts to pass this final test of the war, deciding whom to trust.
